Nowadays, technology has developed in many aspects of our life. It brings a lot of advantages for us if we can use it conveniently. We use the technology in politic, business, or even in education. That is why the technology is important in many aspects, including in learning language. Language learners should use technology if they want to master a language quickly. They have to take advantage from technology. The technology is a part of modern way of learning languages. Therefore, several kinds of technology will help them learning language faster.
Firstly, the technology of Internet is one of the best instruments to help language learner mastering the language. We can find anything we need through the internet. For instance, if we have difficulties in finding sources we need, we can browse to the internet. Internet will help us finding appropriate sources we need. Another example, my brother, who is in Junior High school, now is able to access English books through the internet. Even, it costs cheaper than books from the store. While we are using internet, we are also able to find many methods of learning language like learning Grammar online, video chatting for having conversation with foreigners, or even reading foreign newspapers or magazines online.
Next, similar to the technology of Internet, a cellular phone is also a technology that helps language learners mastering language. Nowadays, we can do some online activities by using cellular phone. For example, if our cellular phone has feature like GPRS, we will be connected to the internet. Even, if a cellular phone is featured by JAVA application, we can do more. For instance, my cellular phone, Nokia 5200, is available for JAVA application. I can use the applications for chatting, sending an e-mail, or even listening foreign radios. Another example of application is that we may have a dictionary in our cellular phone. Again, JAVA allows us to use their application of dictionary.
Finally, the computer software is technology that allows language learners learning language with different methods. Nowadays, there are many kinds of computer software which are being used in education field. For instance, LONGMAN Dictionary is dictionary software that allows the users to find the meaning of a certain words. Even, it can pronounce the words that we type or write on. Software like a kind of games is enjoyable software which also helps us to learn language. For instance, Bookworm Adventures Deluxe is a puzzle game that allows us to find much different kind of words by using the puzzled letters that have been provided for us on the box. Its function is actually to gain our vocabulary faster.
To conclude with, technology is truly an aspect that has important role in learning language. Several kinds of technologies above are the example how important the technology is. The technology will help us learning language faster. Even, there will be no variation in learning English if we do not take advantage in technology as the instrument of our learning English.

Every country in the world has international airport. For example in Indonesia, we have Sukarno-Hatta airport, which is one of the international airports in the world. As we know, nowadays English is known as the international language in the world. Every people in the world who want to go to another country usually must have the ability to speak English. International airports, involved Sukarno-Hatta airport, use English as their delivery language. In Sukarno-Hatta airport, everyday people arrive and depart not only from Indonesia but also from the other countries. Due these events, the officials who work in this airport must have good ability in speaking English. The use of English in the international airports has three advantages.
First, by using English, the officials can announce some important information about the flight in English to the visitors, so they can understand those announcements. For instance, the officials use English to announce that the plane will take of, the flight is delayed, the passengers are supposed to enter some rooms, etc. Although the visitors are Australian, Arabian, Palestinian, Chinese, etc, they usually will understand the announcement in the international airports. They know that nowadays, if they want to go to another country they need to study English. Beside announcements, which are given by the officials, every public facility in the airport for example, café, mini market, restaurant, and rest room need to be signed in English.
Second, by using English in the international airport, there will be no misunderstanding and mess situation happened in the airport. In the second paragraph stated that the visitors from many countries have understood every announcement in the international airport, so there will be no misunderstanding to interpret the announcement. We can imagine what happened if the visitors don’t understand the important information about the flight, maybe there would be mess situation in the airport. For instance, if the passengers don’t understand the announcement that the plane will take off, they will delay their flight until the next fligh, so the airport will be very crowded. So, the usage of English in the international airport can avoid misunderstanding and mess situation in that airport.
Beside to make announcement can be understood and to avoid misunderstanding and mess situation in the international airports, English can be used as means to give the best service to the visitors. By using polite and friendly English when the officials give the announcements, the passengers will be glad to come to this airport, so the ticket flight reservation will increase.
In conclusion, after analyzing, we know that there are three advantages of the usage of English in the international airports. They are to make the announcement to be understood by the visitors, to avoid misunderstanding and mess international, and to give the best service to the visitors of the international airports. So, English give the important role in the international airport. It is used as means of communication, So Nowadays, it is necessary to have ability in speaking English if people want to go to another country.

English is widely-spread tool of communication in both developed and developing nations. Many people try to learn and master this language now, especially for them who do not have English as their mother tongue. Moreover, the government of some countries like Indonesia and Malaysia use English as the second language of its nation. They put English as one of the subject that must be learnt in schools and it will be tested in the final exam. By doing this, the government wants their citizen to use this international language to support their activities in many aspects. Actually, English as International language brings several advantages in some aspect for everyone who uses it that three of them will be stated here.
First, English as International language brings several advantages in political aspect. For example, demonstrators in non-English speaking countries often use signs of messages that written in English to convey their demands to TV-audience around the globe (www.wikipedia.com). By using the signs and messages in English, many people will understand what they mean or what they want, so they will support it at last. “Say No to Drugs” and “Stop Global Warming” is some of the popular messages that they yell. Another example is making political relationship among countries. They sometimes hold a meeting and talk about some cooperation in many sectors such as military, social, and culture. In this meeting, English as international language will smooth the meeting and avoid misunderstanding. Imagine when Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono spoke Bahasa Indonesia and Barack Obama spoke English in a meeting. The agreement would not be reached.
Second, English as international language not only has several advantages in political aspect, but also in economic aspect. For example, many businessmen use English as a medium for conducting business and commerce with some foreign partners. A “Honda” seller in Indonesia will call the “Honda” distributor in Japan to send some motorcycles. They will not use Japanese or Bahasa Indonesia, but they will use English in their conversation. Instantly, they will open a new market field not only in their country but also in another country. Furthermore, English also helps a country to promote itself. Indonesia use “Visit Indonesia Year 2008” as a slogan, which is packaged in English advertisement, to catch many foreigners to visit Indonesia, for instance. When many foreigners come to a country, it means they succeed in promoting its own country and finally it will add its income.
Finally, apart from politics and economics aspect, English as international language also brings advantages in educational aspect. For example, many students who are able to speak this international language can pursue their higher education abroad easily. As we know that they have to reach the score around 500-600 in TOEFL before they apply for the scholarship to study abroad. English will also help them to understand the lesson because most of international classes use English as their daily language teaching. Another example of the advantages of English as international language is helping the teachers to plan the lesson. The teachers can search some materials in the internet or by some books. Most of the materials now are written in English. Those materials are obtained from many experts from many countries. Therefore, they will not get dizzy to plan the lesson because they are helped by English as the global language.
There are so many advantages that English as the international language serves. Three of them are in politics, economics, and education aspect. Everyone will “walk” confidently through their life if they are capable of using this international language. It is like missing something in their life without English. As English is the global language that is used by many people and it gives a lot of advantages.
